The Girls' Club Manual was developed out of the practical experience of the Transforming Education for Girls in Nigeria (TEGIN) project in 72 schools across seven states. The manual contains steps one can take to form and run a girls’ club in primary and secondary school. It offers aims, objectives, a code of conduct and possible activities for members of a girls’ club. It is targeted at students, particularly girls, and their teachers, as well as school authorities, government officials, community organizations involved in education, donor organizations and private organizations interested in improving education.
