This Evidence Brief on Quality and Learning, part of a series on Strengthening Resilience and Response to Crises, was produced by Cambridge Education for the UK Department for International Development (DFID). The brief aims to summarize what is and is not known about providing a quality education in emergency contexts. This brief explores teachers, formal/non-formal schools, communities and curriculum, with a view to understanding ‘what works’ for education delivery in EiE contexts, which include hot conflict settings, protracted refugee crises and natural disasters.
