Implementation and evaluation of the Gender Equity Movement in Schools program in specific sites – Vietnam, India and Bangladesh
Changing Course presents the findings of a study which looks at the implementation and evaluation of the Gender Equity Movement in Schools (GEMS) project in Vietnam, India and Bangladesh. GEMS is one of the few evaluated school-based programmes that aims to promote gender equality, redefine masculinity and negate all forms of violence. This synthesis report is based on the evaluation of the project. It describes the methods and findings in each of the locations and undertakes a discussion on implications for gender programming.
