The Transform Education Newsletter

September 2021

01 Oct 2021

Hey Education Transformers!

This edition is dedicated to mother earth 🌎.

EDUCATION SHIFTS POWER for THE CLIMATE.

On Friday September 24th two BIG things happened:

  1. Young activists and allies around the world striked to demand intersectional climate justice!

  2. Young feminist activists demanded gender-transformative education to advance climate justice!

With just over a month before the 26th UNFCCC Conference of Parties (COP26), Transform Education in partnership with Plan, UNGEI, UNICEF and young climate leaders have launched a sign-on statement that calls on governments to take action for gender-transformative climate education.

Read the statement: Our call for gender-transformative education to advance climate justice and sign on here.

To support and amplify the youth-led statement, we invite you to post these social media messages.
