A Whole School Approach to End SRGBV

Developed by UNGEI through the Global Working Group to End School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV), A Whole School Approach to prevent and respond to SRGBV: minimum standards and monitoring framework provides guidance for policy makers and practitioners. The model is based on eight evidence-based approaches which together represent a ‘whole school approach’ to tackling SRGBV. School-based channels for reporting violence are critical for child protection. Schools must provide safe and confidential spaces through which violence can be reported and perpetrators held to account. But what are the key elements of an effective reporting system?
