The 8th Virtual Conference on Menstrual Hygiene Management in Schools

The Virtual Conference on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in Schools enables the global sharing of new ideas and 'lessons learned', and connects people working on MHM in schools in a wide range of countries.

The conference focuses on the 'MHM in Ten' five priorities identified for transforming MHM in schools by 2024. It provides an opportunity to share the latest research and programming from around the world.

The 2020 theme, Innovation in MHM: Putting Girls at the Center, highlighted national examples of programmes that found new ways to identify and address barriers to safe and dignified MHM for girls in schools. As well as innovations in products, services and facilities, this included novel, inclusive ways to end menstrual stigma and empower girls with knowledge and skills to manage their menstruation.
