COVID-19 Youth call out

Youth are not only the beneficiaries of transformation in education, they are essential partners. In fact, they are the transformers. From Australia to Zimbabwe, youth-led networks and organizations are mobilizing and working together to transform education to help every child get a quality education, no matter who she, he or they are. COVID-19 is a major barrier to gender equality in education. Learners out of school, especially girls and gender non-conforming learners, experience worsened gender norms and inequalities.
