Synthesis report on China, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam
This publication consists of a synthesis report and four country briefs from China, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam, of research findings regarding violence in schools on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity or expression (SOGIE). It also identifies best practices and policies and aims to mobilize support for advocacy among educators, research institutions, policymakers and activists both nationally and regionally. The intended primary audience includes educators, researchers, policy makers and activists at national and regional levels. It was commissioned by the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education (UNESCO Bangkok Office).
