This Learners Taking Action guide is for facilitators and mentors of the Prevent Violence in Schools programme. The guide begins by introducing the programme and discussing the background and approach. Part 1: “Facilitating the workshop” offers guidelines for training of learners in a workshop setting. Part 2: “Mentoring school safety teams” provides advice for mentoring learners as they make their own plans and take action to prevent violence in their schools.
