This short guide, Positive Discipline in Everyday Teaching, was prepared by Save the Children. Targeted for teachers and educators, the guide explains the basic concepts of positive discipline. It includes five components teachers can use when applying positive discipline. Positive discipline is an approach to teaching that helps children succeed, gives them the information they need to learn and supports their development. It respects children’s right to healthy development, protection from violence and active participation in their learning.
