The Gender Champions Training Manual is developed as part of Save the Children’s “School Me” approach to improving girls’ education in West Africa. It is designed for use with adults, but may be modified for use with adolescents and youth. The Gender Champions workshop is intended to stimulate reflection on participants’ own gender biases, and to use those reflections as a basis for discussion that leads to concrete behavior change. The principal audience of this training is Save the Children staff, including programme, operations and support teams.
