Equipping and activating teachers in Honduras to address school-based violence and other crises

Docentes por la Paz /Educators for Peace is an empowering and innovative five-module professional development programme for public school teachers in Honduras. The programme increases educator capacity to provide quality education in contexts of crisis and conflict and helps them foster safe learning environments within the education system. This participatory programme responds to the need to support teachers as they navigate contexts marked by generalized conflict, violence and irregular migration and displacement.
