Effects of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) on Girls' Education Performance in Primary Schools

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) on educational performance of girl‟s in primary schools in West Pokot Sub County, Kenya.The study was guided by the following objectives; examine the effects of FGM on girl child, establish relationship between FGM and performance of a girl,determine the determinants of FGM, establish human rights adherence of anti-FGM on education performance.
