This report provides insights into how UNICEF-promoted images of girls' education are read and interpreted by sample groups of relevant stakeholders, with a view to inform image-based communications and advocacy strategies as well as girls' education programming. The report outlines policy- and program-relevant recommendations and provides tools for UNICEF, UNGEI partners, and peer agencies to use to promote more sophisticated visual literacy with regard to girls' education and to promote technically coherent, 'girl-centred' images of girls' education.
