Ministers of education and finance, bilateral and multilateral organizations, civil society, youth organizations, the private sector and academia gathered in Washington, DC for the 2013 World Bank-IMF Spring Meetings from 16-18 April 2013. The events culminated in the Learning for All Ministerial to which UNGEI, Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE), Global Campaign for Education (GCE), the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), and Plan International released a call to action to ensure that girls education and gender equality in education remains a priority towards achieving the MDGs and in the development agenda beyond 2015.
