The ILO’s new Global Report on Child Labour, entitled “The end of child labour: Within reach”, presents a new global agenda building on lessons learned to achieve further progress in the elimination of child labour. It provides:
  • New estimates and trends of child labour, by region and globally;
  • Examples of national action in combating child labour and the central role of employers’ and workers’ organisations;
  • An exploration of strategic frameworks and policy initiatives that are contributing to the elimination of child labour.

Based on reliable data and information, the report sheds new light on the means by which countries and the international community are making major strides in eliminating child labour.
