Seeking success stories on quality education

03-03-2008 - An ongoing UNESCO initiative is seeking success stories of communities using information for development. Quality education is one of the categories (the others are poverty reduction; health; disaster prevention; governance and human development).

Through its Information for All Programme the Organization is providing project funding support of US$5,000 for up to five of the most innovative practical examples, one in each UNESCO region. The most successful initiatives will be collected on an open platform to help other communities benefit from the use of information.
The focus of these short stories should be on content (and not on the delivery technologies themselves). They should highlight the vital role that information plays in development.
To be considered for the project funding, stories must be submitted no later than 31 March 2008.
