UNGEI GAC goes green

Telepresence allows individuals across diverse geographic locations to collaborate face-to-face through the TelePresence interface. Initiated under the ‘greening’ of the GAC, this was the first virtual meeting where GAC members participated from Geneva, New York, London, Paris, Ottawa, Washington, DC, Oslo, Rome and Zurich. Some members also attended the meeting via Cisco’s WebEx from other locations around the world.
Members discussed the business of the GAC and the Working Groups on the Role of the GAC, Monitoring and Evaluation and Knowledge Management presented their reports to the GAC at the meeting.
