World Vision hosts Global Campaign for Education
7 May 2007 - As one of 18 National Offices that are taking part in the Global Campaign for Education, World Vision Lebanon, in collaboration with the Institute of Human Rights at the Beirut Bar Association, taught 25 young people in Lebanon that education is a basic human right in a seminar on Saturday. The theme was “Education as a Human Right”.

Partners respond to the Middle East crisis
UNGEI partners have been expressing serious concern about civilian casualties and new risks to health from escalating violence in the Middle East. To date, dozens of children have been killed, and many more have been injured. Working in partnership, UNGEI organizations are moving quickly to respond to the immediate and urgent needs of affected children and families in the Middle East.
