The period between childhood and adulthood comes with many physical, psychological, and emotional changes. However, many young people do not receive the information they need to successfully navigate this period towards a safe, healthy and productive life. Comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) aims to equip children and young people with the . knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values they need to realise their health, well-being and dignity and develop respectful social and sexual relationships. Itís about safeguarding the rights of all young people and supporting their empowerment. Yet, across the world, there are many barriers to implementing CSE programmes. The question is what actions and investments are needed to break those barriers and how can we work together to establish CSE as a key tool for advancing gender equality in and through education?

A diverse panel of experts will launch our discussion and inspire deep roundtable conversations to explore several key questions around CSE and gender equality. Drink some tea/coffee, fuel yourself with food, be inspired by activist art and participate in an important conversation.
