Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting: Girls' Education Framework
The Girls’ Education Framework sets out a commitment made by governments, international NGOs and CSOs and other relevant stakeholders to work together and individually to provide opportunities for 12 years of quality education for all girls by 2030. The Framework includes specific commitments made by governments to improve girls’ education in their own countries and around the world. Initial commitments were made at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2018, and further commitments will be recorded as part of the framework going forward. These commitments, and overall progress towards 12 years of quality education, will be tracked by a new High Level Platform chaired by the UK Foreign Secretary.
