Girls’ Education Mapping Exercise (GEME)

The overall objective of GEME is to facilitate the advancement of knowledge concerning girls’ education, both in the formal and non-formal sectors. This objective is closely linked with UNGEI’s aim to raise awareness of the importance of educating girls and to generate support nationally, regionally and internationally. Additionally, the database will allow UNGEI to measure the progress against MDGs and EFA goals related to gender and education.
