Education is the first step to empowerment, but in many countries girls dropout after primary school.

On the 8th of August 2013, The Guardian's Adolescent girls hub held a live Q&A on the need to change social norms in order to tackle the negative practices that prevent girls from reaching their potential. Among the many notable contributors, Nora Fyles, Head of the UNGEI Secretariat also participated in the discussions.
